Event Support Team Member
The Social Market Collective is seeking dependable and enthusiastic Event Support Team Members to assist with the execution of our artisan markets, pop-up events, and community showcases. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being part of a high-energy event environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with vendor check-in and registration upon arrival
- Help direct vendors to their assigned booth spaces
- Support table and layout setup according to the event floor plan
- Assist with event signage placement and check-in station setup
- Help answer vendor and guest questions throughout the event
- Ensure vendor spaces remain organized and compliant with event guidelines
- Support crowd flow and general guest assistance
- Assist with event breakdown and cleanup at the end of the event
- Communicate with the event coordinator regarding any issues or needs
Qualifications
- Friendly and professional communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (tables, signage, supplies)
- Reliable transportation to event locations
- Weekend availability
